Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey (d.2019) was an the game of ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5, 1998 from Minsk Belarus. Her professional career has seen her win twelve WTA singles titles, which includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Doubles is an additional area in which she excels. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. Together with the Belgian tennis star, she won an award called the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in the year 2019, making the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples playing in singles for women. It was only four couples who were able to achieve this feat during women's doubles. In doubles however she pushed herself up to first place in February of the same year, following the win in Melbourne being the first tennis player from Belarus to be a part of this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and 2019 as well as a portion of the early 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was briefly with her between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since 2020. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
